We had
friends from out of town staying with us for a few days when we had load
shedding for 3 nights in a row.
My boyfriend very kindly went around at bedtime every night to
blow out all the candles and oil lamps but annoyingly never left me with a
light.
On the 3rd night I was fed up with being left in
the dark while he
played kind host and I went to find him.
I got a little more than a light when I found him and my friend
locked in a steamy kiss in the study.
It seems she was also kindly volunteering to put out lights and
the two were meeting in the dark every night.
Poor girl got such a fright that she burnt her fingers quite badly
on the oil lamp
......and she got to keep my boyfriend
