AKA’s album goes gold after 12 months

South African rapper AKA who is currently out of the country is in good spirits after it was reported that his album has just gone gold, AKA’s sophomore album ‘Levels’ has been a ground breaking album and a game changer in that it has made AKA an African superstar. In the last six months, AKA has traveled to perform in other countries at least twice in each month in countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Germany and he now in the UK.

The album is dubbed by many as a classic, with six successful singles
coming off the album and all of them going to #1 on at least 4 media platforms via radio and TV. AKA is now nominated for the 2015 BET Awards in which he will go to represent South Africa and the hip hop community at the awards to be held in Los Angeles on June 28th.
