now firmly in the thoughts of Spurs’ officials after missing out on signing Southampton’s Jay Rodriguez or Anthony Martial while Sevilla’s Carlos Bacca prefers a move to Liverpool.
Well publicised reports few days ago claimed Moses had refused to be a makeweight for Chelsea’s signing of goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, whom manager Jose Mourinho wants as replacement for Arsenal-bound Petr Cech.
Moses spent last season on-loan at Stoke City and Potters manager Mark Hughes is believed to want to bring the Nigerian international back to the Britannia Stadium, according to The Mirror on Saturday.
The Lilywhites are also having difficulty in offloading some of their current strike force.
Spurs, the Mirror on Saturday further informed, are in talks with Galatasaray over the potential sale of Roberto Soldado, but Emmanuel Adebayor could remain at White Hart Lane as no firm offers have been made by other clubs.
Moses whose spate of injuries have denied him a chance to return to the Super Eagles fold after being a key player in Nigeria’s 2013 AFCON title in South Africa have previously played for Crystal Palace and Liverpool (on loan).
