Ruggedman has said he has a good relationship
with all the artistes he dissed in the past. In an exclusive chat, the
Rugged Records boss said he only dissed them back then to sanitize the
industry. ‘I don’t have any beef with anybody no more. My outburst on the
track, ‘Ehen’ and subsequent songs was just to
make a statement about certain
things which weren’t going right,’ he said.
Not many would have forgotten the
first single by the LASU graduate of Political Science. Titled ‘Ehen’, the hit
track was a stinging attack on some of the top artistes in the industry then
including Eedris Abdulkareem, Maintain, Rasqie and others. He went on to launch
further attack in other songs including ‘Peace of War’ as he developed a widely
reported row with Kennis Music as well as celebrated lyricist, Modenine.
