"The fact that I don’t do what other ladies do doesn’t mean I am not romantic,” Ghana actress

Bridget Serwaah Agyemang

Ghanaian, Kumawood’s actress, Bridget Serwaah Agyemang who stated clearly some time ago that she didn’t believe in sex for movie roles has said that some Kumawood producers say she is not romantic.

In an exclusive interview with Flex newspaper, she said she heard movie producers Macho and Ernest on Kumasi based radio station Hello FM saying that she was
not romantic and that was the reason she was not featured in the latest romantic movies produced in Kumasi.

As multi talented as she is, Bridget expects that she is given challenging roles to play but it appears the producers have stereotyped her for sad and poor girl roles only. By this, she feels limited and doesn’t get the opportunity to showcase the other side of her.

Asked if she has acted romantic roles before, she said she has so far engaged in love scenes with Bill Asamoah, Lil Wyn and one other actor. She told Flex newspaper that she is as romantic as every sexy lady can be described.

“Producers should erase that perception because I am yet to prove to them how romantic I am and I can be in movies. The fact that I don’t do what other ladies do doesn’t mean I am not romantic,” she said.
