Davido's latest video 'Fans Mi' featuring
international rapper Meek Mill has crossed over a million views and has caught the attention of the
National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
According
to the New Telegraph, the agency are currently the activities of the HKN pop
star because of the implied cocaine use in the video directed by Sesan.
“The agency considers the
musical video ‘Fans Mi’ inappropriate and indecent. It has the
tendency to
negatively influence and induce drug use and trafficking. Besides, it is
counter-productive on the campaign against drug production, trafficking and
abuse. The agency is investigating the matter and will take necessary action"
said NDLEA’s Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju.
In the
music video, Davido tricked a criminal into buying yam flour which was cleverly
packaged as cocaine.
Meanwhile
the 'Owo
Ni Koko' singer and
his elder brother and Adewale Adeleke,
who is also the chairman of the HKN Gang music house, have unveiled the HKN
clothing line.
The
merchandise will sold via a dedicated online platform which was given as www.HknGangWears.com.
Davido
and Adewale are said to be investing in other businesses as the singer's fame
and fortune grows by the day.
Davido has
also signed a tour contract to tour UK and Europe between September and October
2015.
