Akpororo have
received lots of negative feedback for his performance at the Inauguration dinner
on May 29, 2015 in Abuja. In his, response the comedian says:
"At the day it is all about the money. I don’t want anybody to like what happened, but I like my bank account balance"
Akpororo also explained that his performance at the inauguration
dinner is different from his normal stand up routine. "There's a difference between
that kind of service or show and a comedy show. To me, making Mr. President to
laugh I am okay with that. People are just tweeting their own stuff"
The standup
comedian also stated that people who say he is not funny don't know what comedy
is about.
