Adorable little daughter of Timaya Emma turns 3 and her parents did not hesitate to celebrate her on social media. Timaya’s girlfriend is expecting the couple’s second child.

9ICE BAGS POLITICAL APPOINTMENT

N

igerian music star-turned politician, Alexander Abolore Adegbola Adigun Alapomeji Ajifolajifaola popularly known as 9ice has been made Special Assistant on Youth to the governor.   For a while now, the news of his political appointment has continued to trail although there is no official confirmation to that effect yet from Oyo State Government quarters.

In his response on how he feels about the appointment, 9ice said: ‘I feel happy, great and honored. The feeling is not always fine when you lose an election and you feel encouraged when you are given a position, maybe lower or higher, be it an appointment from political office you contested from. I’m happy about it and learning every day, and I believe that being in the environment of a political arena would help to build my political career and then from there I would be able to go for the highest political office.’

Meanwhile, 9ice who member of the ruling party in Oyo State, APC, contested for the Ogbomosho North/South/Orire Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives but was edged out in the party’s primaries.

AKON AND DAVIDO COLLABORATION WILL SHAKE NIGERIA

International singing star, Akon has confirmed his collaboration with Nigerian pop star, Davido, days after the Nigerian singer posted a picture from their studio session on his Twitter handle.

In a tweet from the award winning singer, Akon disclosed that he is about to shake the Nigerian music industry with the newly recorded song entitled Lie to you.

Akon has become one of the most featured international music act on the Nigerian scene with many top rated artists featuring him in their songs and remake of their song.

The lucky winner, Austin Anyansi, a 200 level student of Sociology, could not believe his good luck as he kept smiling for the cameras and posing with his latest wardrobe upgrade.
