Brit Morgan features in 'Supergirl' as Livewire

True Blood' star Brit Morgan is the most recent addition to the cast of the eagerly-anticipated CBS/Warner Bros. drama series 'Supergirl.'

According to Variety, Brit will play the

character Livewire, a villain on show.

Her character is described as “a confident, abrasive and funny shock-jock who works for CatCo Media” when an accident turns her into the electrical-powered villain.

The character Livewire which was created by Gail Simone and John Byrne in 'Action Comics' #835, would later have a change of heart and become a hero, fighting alongside Superman.

The upcoming superhero series revolves around Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) who escapes the destruction on Krypton to join her cousin on Earth

'Supergirl'  also stars  Mehcad Brooks, Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Faran Tahir, Dean Cain andHelen Slater.

Jenna Dewan Tatum was recently added to show as Lucy Lane.

Supergirl is scheduled to debut in November.
